BEHIND THE SCENE | A WEDDING DESIGN CONSULTATION WITH SAPPHIRE & LACE
Today we are bringing you behind the scenes on what a wedding client consultation looks like at Sapphire & Lace Event Design. We were excited to sit down with Julie Start and Bethany Kleppick and experience the same process as couple's planning their wedding.
For our first wedding look we showed the sister designers a photo in a magazine that we were attracted to the overall feel of. We chose The Pennsylvanian as our venue and used pink and lime green as our color palette. We also had to include our love for white peacocks. We were so excited to watch the second half of the process unfold; they actually pulled flowers, vessels, and other elements together to show us how our idea could transfer to design.
We were thrilled with the sample they put together for us-from flower ideas to greens, table numbers to pink votives, and beautiful chargers and table linen. We loved the delicate look and feel and could actually visualize what The Pennsylvanian would look like with their design aesthetic at the helm.
Onward to look number two! For this we didn't name a specific venue and we were a little more general with colors. We decided on a barn wedding with lots of greenery while also leaning towards a more rustic vintage vibe. Then we stood back and watched them work.
Again, we were so thrilled with the results! Plenty of greenery and a really unique table number option. We loved the brass candlesticks with the colored tapers as well as the pops of white flowers. Blue and brown glass vessels were featured with with striking pops of color. It all looked crisp and clean, yet maintained that rustic look we desired.
So there you are-a wonderful behind the scenes look of our consultation with Sapphire and Lace with two very different wedding ideas. Both of them as equally charming and pretty. We left with visions of what these weddings would look like and hope we'll have the opportunity to photograph both of these designs soon.
