Where Passion Meets Design
Fifteen years ago, a confidant suggested I quit my secure corporate job to pursue my dream in design. A floral shop in the charming town of Ellwood City was for sale. With a background in gardening and a passion for flowers and design, that tiny intuition was all I needed to take the leap of faith.
A Typical work day for me is 5:30 am wake up: thirty minutes of meditation and thirty minutes of walking my dog, Toby. Then, a final thirty minutes at church. Among activities such as watering my garden and feeding my birds, my inspiration is drawn from nature and creation. That morning walk with Toby and getting my hands in the soil of my garden always stirs my imagination. Then it's off to the shop around 9 am, give or take a few minutes.
I have great designers and we all work together as a team to meet the needs of the day. Designing begins with flower delivery and conditioning. We take care of plants and always have a consultation or two for weddings. When everyone leaves for the day I like to stay behind and make adjustments to the shop. I love what I do; it truly is passion driven. I don't think of my world as work. I love a glass of wine to end my day!
My Philosophy is this: To truly listen to my clients, to create custom designs that surpass their expectations, a one of a kind...Passion meets design for God's Glory. So when helping bride's find their style. We sit down in consultation and ask many questions, We look at their dream boards as well. This gives me insight, and before you know it, we have it!
I love the Rust Belt Region. We are loaded with the most talented vendors and beautiful land. It truly gets no better! The people are kind, friendly and passionate. How BLESSED are we... from photography, flowers, venues, wedding boutiques and music! I could not imagine being anywhere else. I love small town living where I can actually own my own building and be located central to service clients from Erie to Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and Ohio.
